To discuss his book, with the declarative title, “The Trouble with Physics”. A first for Harvard: My earlier post had the address wrong!*. First of all, Lee reveals his intense hostility against all of modern physics, not just string theory. Book Review: Lee Smolin, The Trouble with Physics. Since 2001 he has been a founding faculty member at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Toronto. I know I am arriving a bit late to this game; I only got hand of the book after returning from from Canada, and I have been very busy these weks since then. What are the problems with Lee's appraisal of physics? Even eminent physicists admit the there is something fundamentally wrong with the scientific discipline of physics, as with Lee Smolin in his book with the above title.
